Role and Purpose of Position:
The Role Itself.
a) The primary function of the position is to maintain and increase our business from the Scandinavian / Nordic Markets.This will entail:
b) Working with overseas Tour operators on a day-to-day basis.
c) Winning new Clients for CIE Tours
d) Ensuring existing clients are happy with the service provided
e) Making reservations with Irish product suppliers, if and when needed.
f) Providing support to both client and supplier and ensuring the client is satisfied with CIE Tours International as their tour operator.
g) All administration associated with the above functions.
h) Repeated sales calls to the market place will be necessary
i) Conducting Fam. Trips will be necessary
j) Other duties as directed by management
Ideally, the candidate will have relevant previous experience within the tour operating or the hospitality industry.
Ideally, the client will have a strong profile in the industry both domestically and in the Market place.
Ideally the candidate will have a qualification in tourism or hospitality.
Fluency in at least 2 Scandinavian / Nordic languages is essential as is an excellent working knowledge of English. The candidate must be self-motivated with an ability to work unsupervised, while still being a strong team player with the ultimate goal of increasing sales turnover on behalf of the company.
An eye for accuracy/detail is vital.
The candidate will be able to work with a multicultural/ multinational customer base outside the Scandinavian area.
